On September 1st 2014, I put a deposit on a car of 200.00 cash paid to Joe. A few hours after doing so, a private seller came back to me with a counter offer on a car that was in better shape, had a radio, didn't look like it was in 10 wrecks and at a better price. I called Joe that morning and explained the situation. His response was you do what works out best for you and said he would send me a check to refund my deposit. I never did get my deposit back even though it was promised to be sent. There was always an excuse usually that he lost my address. When I made plans to drive the 50 minutes for the check, no one was at the office when I arrived. I'll admit that I was a later then I expected since on my way up there, I learned my Dad passed away and needed a little time to digest that before I could drive but I did arrive at 5 PM, office closed, no one around. Today is November 28th 2014, still no check from Joe. 200.00 is not a ton of money to some but at this time in my life, 200.00 means having money to pay an electric bill, instead I have shut off notices. Joe I hope you enjoy your coffee with the wifey every day at 3pm, or was that BS too?
